The Tree (Part 2)

In life, many a times we are affected by many external happenings. How do we tackle them? Is it jus get lost and hope it will fade with time, or is it just up to our own hands and try make things happen? Any decision made doesn’t comprehend right or wrong, good bad…

Perhaps, we should just be like a multi-scarred old tree, which held its own fate in surviving. Even things do happen against our will or desired, if we can make the best of it, we can still work towards our desired outcomes.

The Tree (Part 1)

There’s a German quote saying “The position where there was scar on the bark of a tree is the strongest”.

One of the greatest trees’ challenges from the Mother Nature must be the prowess of the weather. The trunk, the branches will be tested, broken, snapped. But also, because of this, they provide chances for them to heal and regenerate to continue living on. Of all, the areas with battered scars, although uglier than the rest, but is stronger and can support the tree and continuing growing with its limitless determination to reach for the equally limitless sky.

I believe those reading will understand the true meaning of the story. The fact that everyone has their very own story of “withstanding the weather”. Be it the departure of love ones, or is it just a minor discomfort at work. I have no intention comparing the degree of importance of everyone’s setbacks or regrets.

At this point, I believe long before time, Mother Nature had already blessed all living things created with the “survival skill”. Equipped with it, it will accompany us as we grow, even if we come to any setbacks, we will also be able to bounce back, and emerge stronger.

As quoted, the same as a thousand-year-old tree.

Wow..!! Travelled alot today, without spending much. Kind of unusual, for me! HAha Started with a run in the morning.
Route: Home, to Botanic garden, round Botanic garden, then back home. Don't know what's the distance though.. 15km maybe, let me check when I have the time.

Actually wanted to run to Zouk for the annual flea market, just played out by Bo*by. Have to go somewhere I know. Botanic garden is beautiful!! Serene.. Felt like being filled with the happy family spirits. very comfortable, but didn't stay long, reckon I'll be back for more.

Then went in search for a briefcase for my newly bought laptop. Didn't want it to crack, break, smash before I bring it to Australia. can't find leh.. Everyone please please please look out for briefcase suitable for laptops.

Went on a feeder bus to suntec, happily got this 2 kidos in front of me, ultra cute. Brother and sister, gorgous mum with very pretty kidos. The sis have a small face, very pretty eyes, cute milk teeth, curly hair, always smiling, giggling, wearing this white wool sweater. The bro much more active, not afraid of strangers, and the mum have to consistently remind him not to do this, that..
Went to Swissotel to settle the Vertical Marathon, come across another 3 angels, hiding away from their parents la.. Playing hide-and-seek.

These scenes, from the botanic garden to the children, gives me a very special feeling. definitely feel that they are very blessed. Free from all troubles and worries. Their needs and wants, they can just roll on the floor and wail. Problems come, there will be 101 people lining up to settle for them.

BUt, I still prefer to be the one tackling the problem!! Cheers!!
