The Tree (Part 1)

There’s a German quote saying “The position where there was scar on the bark of a tree is the strongest”.

One of the greatest trees’ challenges from the Mother Nature must be the prowess of the weather. The trunk, the branches will be tested, broken, snapped. But also, because of this, they provide chances for them to heal and regenerate to continue living on. Of all, the areas with battered scars, although uglier than the rest, but is stronger and can support the tree and continuing growing with its limitless determination to reach for the equally limitless sky.

I believe those reading will understand the true meaning of the story. The fact that everyone has their very own story of “withstanding the weather”. Be it the departure of love ones, or is it just a minor discomfort at work. I have no intention comparing the degree of importance of everyone’s setbacks or regrets.

At this point, I believe long before time, Mother Nature had already blessed all living things created with the “survival skill”. Equipped with it, it will accompany us as we grow, even if we come to any setbacks, we will also be able to bounce back, and emerge stronger.

As quoted, the same as a thousand-year-old tree.
