Appreciating

People can walk through the same alley everyday but many a times never noticed the details of the surroundings. People can run ultra distances, but never noticed what they ran passed. Perhaps, many of us are guilty of not appreciating the details. Maybe not to the extend of noticing zero, perhaps jus improvement needed.

Not even accompanied with my Zen Micro, went out as soon as I woke. For the first 15 minutes I was like stunned just below my void deck, I didn’t know where to go.. Lolx.. Just whack la.. Went to settle some admin and then just walk around. Came across this alley where a number of photographs are on display. These photographs describe the daily live hood of the Gorge Sanxia. Have you though of this:” How come the daily live hood of a third party can be so interesting to others?”

Decided to chill. Came to this place where I thought there isn’t anything I can complain about at all. Lovely ladies with excellent service, fragrance of tea and the rhythm clocking of the footsteps filled the atmosphere.

It’s since so long I met up with Nelson and Yiteng. Laughter and joy filled, thanks to Mich taking her own sweet time with her food.. Gave the equal amount of time for us to play gossip game. Thanks hah…

A photograph can be an illustration of many stories. A tea session can be ultimate luxurious. A simple dinner get-together can make your day. It depends on how much YOU want each thing to weigh in one’s heart.

Understanding animals

For all kinds of animals, they reflect their emotions their own unique action and way. For example, dogs wag their tails when they are happy. Cows throw up their tails from pleasure. A deep grunt of satisfaction uttered by pigs indicates pleasure with its food. Cats stand at full height with arched backs when they are terrified.

Of cause, reflecting of emotions includes human too. Smiling, frowning, tearing, etc are not alien actions at all. However, there is a difference between human and animals in reflecting emotions. Animals do not hide their emotions. They reflect all emotions without conserving. Humans hide their emotions; sometimes even lie about how they feel. This makes us the most complex living thing. This, makes us the most difficult to understand.

Brain or Heart?

What a time to have woken when I thought I could have a long sleep, it wasn’t to be. Woken by a nightmare..

Walked in the rain on my way back, drenched.. felt so tired.. Mind went blank for some moments and I can vaguely make up how I got home. Not interested to hot shower immediately, instead headed for bed.

Quoting from SJ’s entry, “Adaptability is one important trade one just gotta learn in order to get the head start. Whereas if ya wanna excel in the things we do, adaptability does not affect much. It only affects the time factor, how fast one wants to achieve his or her goal.”

I think adapability is controlled, by the environment, people. Etc. Perhaps, the most crucial of all, oneself. We can always decide to change things or not. In different situations, one may adapt or accept a situation readily. On some other occasions, one may choose not to adapt to it forever. Putting in layman term, YOU like it, we adapt. Don’t like it, don’t adapt. Feeling.

Recalling what my secondary school discipline master said, :” Life is full of choices. In life we have to make many decisions, of which some results in punishment, some reap rewards.” Sometimes, you well know the consequences of the choice, but you still wet your head. Again, YOU lilke, you choose. Don’t like, don’t choose. Feeling.

There is a factor that can limit this wilfulness of human. The power of reasoning, logic. This certainly brought a degree of organization into this world, otherwise everyone will just be following what their hearts urge them to. Change come in, it is a painful process. Thinking.

Perhaps standing at the junction is another way out..
